Meet the People Behind Perry Building Contractors

Dan Perry, President
Dan has over 35 years experience in commercial/industrial construction as president of Perry Building Contractors. Prior to forming Perry Building Contractors, Dan was vice-president of Perry Construction and Development. Dan’s primary responsibility is to oversee the daily operations of Perry Building Contractors.

Teresa Perry, Vice President/Controller
Teresa brings over 35 years experience as the Chief Financial Officer of Perry Building Contractors. Her primary responsibilities are the management of all accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, payroll, and is the primary office manager.

Brad Burris, Director of Purchasing/ Project Coordinator
Brad has over 20 years experience in commercial / industrial construction. Brad serves primarily as the company’s chief procurement manager and project coordinator. Brad also is the primary manager of field personnel. Brad is also a project manager on selected projects and serves as the company safety director. Brad joined Perry Building Contractors as a general laborer, was promoted to equipment operator, then purchasing manager prior to his current position. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management form Eastern Illinois University.

Dean Grubbs, Senior Estimator
Dean has over 20 years experience in commercial /industrial construction. Dean joined Perry Building Contractors 20 years ago as an estimator. He has been serving as the company’s senior estimator the past 15years. Dean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Technology from Purdue University.

Jay Kammeyer, Senior Project Manager
Jay has over 25 years experience in commercial / industrial construction specializing in restaurant, retail, commercial, and institutional construction. His primary responsibilities are managing the due diligence process, budget procurement, and construction project management of most projects. Prior to joining Perry Building Contractors, Jay specialized in construction project management for various national construction firms and served as Director of Construction for the Steak N Shake Company. Jay holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Building Construction Technology from Purdue University.

Michelle Perry, Administrative Assistant/Marketing Director
Michelle has over 15 year’s involvement with Perry Building Contractors. Michelle initially was involved with accounts payable and receivable and eventually was promoted to Administrative Assistant. Her primary focus is to provide support services to the Estimating Department, Purchasing Department, and Project Management. She also serves as Perry Building Contractors’ Marketing Director and is the primary point of contact for new clients.
